Session 17: Stone Statues and a Skyward Skirmish
The party reached Sariel’s airship, uncovered Warforged impostors with organic remains, and sent statue-lizardfolk to reclaim Veilwater Keep. A bronze dragon attacked, casting heroes overboard—Wolf saved Mavikhad, but Ecthelion neared death. As spirits emerged from the keep, the battle for Veilwater Keep began.
Session 18: The Dragon Yields, the Keep Calls
Battling a bronze dragon over Lake Galifar, the party saved Ecthelion from drowning, rallied ghostly allies, and forced the dragon’s retreat. With Veilwater Keep ahead, they navigated the waterfall entrance, discovering ancient statues and forgotten names tied to their fate. Achilles made a grand entrance—met only by silence.
Session 19: Fate and Flames
At Veilwater Keep, the party explored eerie halls, an ancient chapel, and a library filled with giant spiders—until Ecthelion’s Fireball set it ablaze. While Mavikhad sang prayers, Sariel felled the last spider, and the team scrambled to save burning books. Their new stronghold held secrets, but first, they had to survive it.
Session 20: Paintings and Purification
As Veilwater Keep’s strange magic amplified their spells, the party encountered lingering dwarven spirits who guided them in cleansing the desecrated chapel. Baraz unknowingly wielded a book that trapped demons, and cryptic paintings revealed their fated titles, unlocking long-lost chambers filled with relics from the legendary Warriors of the Planes.
Session 21: Treasure, Traps, and Transformation
The party discovered the bones of Ecthelion’s draconic ancestor, Rithvoargolosalae, and met Luther Valos—revealed to be a shape-shifting bronze dragon. After defeating the necromancer Gremorly, they dismantled the ghost trap ritual and claimed Veilwater Keep. Achilles crowned himself “Veris,” seven thrones bore the party's names, and Ecthelion set his sights on crafting a legendary warhorn.
Session 22: The Search for Coffee and a Seven-Card Draw
Between dragon sass, flying tieflings, and a goblin who just wanted his hand back, the Veilwater crew brokered peace. The Deck of Many Things delivered curses and gifts, coffee sprouted from nowhere, and alliances formed with a wink and a duet. One fumbled staff toss later, they almost looked like heroes. Oh, and now Wolf is in arcane shackles.
Session 23: Euryale
Fate turned: Sariel undone by Ruin, Wolf bound by chains, and a Medusa summoned by cosmic accident. Coffee sprouted, stories spilled, and a giant ape crashed through the keep. They fought not to kill, but to endure. Vyssereth, seeing their hearts, left them blessed—stronger in nature, closer in spirit, and just barely whole.
Session 24: Sun
Tedd arrived in divine style, bringing back Sariel’s lost gear and a kid named Finn. He warned the party against abusing the Deck. Wolf remained chained, Baraz lacked finesse, and Veris played chef with mushrooms. After a duel with Finn and a failed treasure claim, the group aimed for Fairhaven—ready to prepare for the coming rift.
Session 25: Arrival in Fairhaven
The party landed in Fairhaven, disguised Mavikhad as "Dumbo", and took up residence in a secret Kundarak vault. Plans were made, identities hidden, but twenty spies crashed the party. Ecthelion was nabbed, Finn went full kaiju, and Luther revealed his dragon form mid-street. They survived the ambush—but the game has changed. Someone’s watching.
Session 26: Siff Awakening at the Chalice Phallus
Breakfast at Stoneward Vault: Baraz secures a Baron-backed deal—weeklong disguises for deep vault access via Illusia’s Imagecraft. Rumors swirl (dragon, stabbing) as the party tracks Mavikhad’s fey steed to a House Lyrandar estate. Lenny, as Princess Fiora, bluffs them inside; chaos follows—slipping covers, pursuing guards, looking for Mavikhad while Finn calmly waits for lunch.
Session 27: Mavi's Mom Has Got It Going On
Morning dawned over hungover Fairhaven nobles. Wolf burst in, Veris snooped upstairs, Finn feasted, and Ecthelion brooded. Mavikhad arrived with his mother Stefania—poised, suspicious, radiant. Veris found "Shadow Realm of the Inner Sun" and Tommen’s empty skin. At The Gilded Hourglass, clues aligned: a cult, a contract, the Inner Sun. Faith wavered—then Finn asked for another sandwich.
