Finders Guild
December 2021 - December 2024 (41 Sessions)
This homebrew Eberron campaign features four players who began their journey in the city of Sharn, interacting with groups like the Boromar Clan and the Tyrants. The adventure reached a climax in Sharn with a showdown at the Temple of the Blood of Vol in the Graywall district of Middle Tavick's Landing. Recently, they have ventured into the nation of Karrnath and are now heading westward toward Thrane and Flamekeep for a major confrontation with the Order of the Emerald Claw.

Session 28: Min to the Max
The party skycoaches from Morgrave to Graywall to confront Priestess Min Noroelwa. Myriel's Circle of Death kills Shade and Whisper, whose bodies reassemble into a Bone Golem. E1-C1D repels it while Knowhere's Negative Energy Flood nearly finishes Min. She escapes ethereally and heals as acolytes Jeff and Deborah fall. Min returns, forces Knowhere to drop his orb, and seizes it.
Session 29: Dead Min Walking
Stripped of his orb, Knowhere turns to living ice as Min opens a portal to Everice. The battle spills through the frozen realm and back into the temple, where E1-C1D slashes Min's throat. Elezz's Toll the Dead destroys the Bone Golem. Knowhere animates Min's corpse to seal the portal against charging winter wolves. Afterward, the party rests, then enters Min's private chamber, laden with tomes.
Session 30: Drawn to Her Quarters
Searching Min's quarters, the party finds magical scrolls, decades of her journals, and an illusion-veiled tapestry. Knowhere's experiments with Min's crimson orb briefly turn him to living ice. Professor Tharriv arrives and takes custody of Min's library inside her Cloak of Ever-Reading, along with letters between Min and Karak found in a hidden safe. Next morning, Gorrim reassigns Elezz as the party's desk-bound G.I.A. coordinator.
Session 31: Entr'acte
At Morgrave, the party weighs fleeing Sharn against unmasking the impostor Silver Flame priest. Karak's letters to Min warn of five full moons and a looming darkness tied to Myriel's tome. Using the Cloak of Ever-Reading, they study changeling pantheists and suspect Sul Khatesh is manipulating everything. Knowhere's orbs open portals to Atur and Everice, sparking theories that thirteen orbs link to Eberron's thirteen planes.
Session 32: Free Fallen
Wind-walking into Lower Sharn's haunted Fallen District, the party seeks the buried Temple of the Silver Flame. Knowhere animates bones arranged in a profane Silver Flame emblem as a rearguard. Myriel's tome reveals a door's lock sequence, opening onto a blood-soaked corridor. E1-C1D smites a lurking demon, but shadow fiends ambush them, dropping Knowhere until E1-C1D revives him. Battered, they eye the next locked door.
Session 33: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Tiefling
E1-C1D's radiant blade finishes the shadow fiends, and the party pushes deeper into the blood-stained temple. Myriel polymorphs Knowhere into a starlight apparition, revealing a worm-cloaked Defiler kneeling over a drow. Myriel deciphers floor runes tied to Dyrrn the Corruptor, a daelkyr. E1-C1D duels the Defiler, seizing its silver sword, while Myriel teleports the drow away, until the Defiler twists Myriel's memory against her friends.
Session 34: Law & Order: Daanvi You
A worm-ridden defiler warps Myriel's memory against E1-C1D, but her Witch Bolt and E1-C1D's silver longsword purge it. A drow they rescue proves to be Flip, the changeling mage. After the Voice of the Flame denounces him, E1-C1D slays Flip, then vanishes to face a celestial tribunal on Daanvi. Revived with a new mission, E1-C1D rejoins the party, only for blink dogs to surround them.
Session 35: Mazin Grace
Blink dogs and a monstrous hound ambush the party outside the ruined temple. Gorgrim, a half-orc rogue sent by the Finders Guild, joins the fight, and his boomerang fells the hound after Myriel's Circle of Death clears most of the pack. They wind-walk to Coldflame Keep, where Mazin reveals E1-C1D's longsword belonged to Melisse Miron. Knowhere volunteers to consult Professor Tharriv alone while the others rest.
Session 36: Burn After Reading
Elezz, now their G.I.A. coordinator, assigns new cases and introduces Gorgrim. Myriel explains that Karr'ahk's prophecy points to five full moons on 27 Vult, 998 YK, ten months away. At Tharriv's office, Min's journals expose her necromantic past and the Crimson Covenant. Then Myriel burns her tome in black, putrid flames. Gorgrim and Tharriv collapse as Knowhere pulls Myriel through a portal into Everice.
Session 37: Clifton-hanger
Possessed by the tome's lingering shadow, Gorgrim attacks Myriel until Knowhere's Hideous Laughter subdues him. E1-C1D rebukes Myriel for burning the book and leaves to pray. After drinks at the Golden Horn, a calmer E1-C1D proves his clarity under Zone of Truth. At Coldflame Keep, Myriel's arrow crumbles to dust, signaling the Lords of Dust. As they plan for Flamekeep, the presumed-dead Clifton walks in.
Session 38: Werebear Necessities
The presumed-dead Clifton is Fil, a changeling spy warning that Lady Illmarrow's Emerald Claw marches west toward Flamekeep. As he leaves, the Mask of Perfect Order leaps onto Myriel's face. Fil becomes a werebear, curses Knowhere with lycanthropy, and escapes after Knowhere's portal chase through Atur. A black dragon materializes to guard Myriel, who confesses she's a Countess of the Court of Shadows, then renounces it.
Session 39: Ticket to Ride
Mazin warns that an Emerald Claw undead army marches on Thrane, urging haste to Flamekeep. Knowhere, now in oversized Silver Flame archery gear, claims Fil's conjuration-laced pendant. Debating orb portals through Atur versus rails, the party hails Flicker Gearspin's skycoach, whose wild dive topples E1-C1D until Gorgrim's tattoo anchors him. At Terminus, steep rail fares send them seeking a mysterious figure bearing a Kraken insignia.
Session 40: Lich, Please
Hiding in an abandoned Atur apothecary, Knowhere learns Fil's pendant holds Word of Recall. Myriel polymorphs E1-C1D into a lich, who scares off a realtor and widow. Wearing Blood of Vol symbols, the party buys lightning rail tickets to Korth. When hobgoblins grow suspicious of a chocolate-eating lich, Knowhere doses them with dreamlily, and Gorgrim buys E1-C1D a private sleeper cabin before the polymorph expires.
Session 41: Murder on the Orien Express
Aboard the lightning rail, E1-C1D, Knowhere, and Gorgrim ambush a House Orien guard and steal his uniform. Calmed, he reveals the half-elf's strongbox is bound for Thrane, then lich-disguised E1-C1D disintegrates him. In the cargo car, they find a Crimson Monastery vault key, a cryptic Draconic scroll, bones Knowhere animates, and a duplicate strongbox. Gorgrim's guard ruse fails when the half-elf spots his fancy boots.
